An account is required to be able to download your purchased e-book at any time. This means you have access to your orders even after purchase and can receive updates or revised versions.
As soon as I have received your payment, you will receive access to your purchased e-book. When paying by credit card, for example, this is immediate. It may take a few days for a classic bank transfer.
Your account will be valid for 2 years after the last login. As long as you have access to the e-books. If you log in again within 2 years, the 2-year period starts again.
Etsy prices include VAT, store prices do not. As a small business I am exempt from VAT according to §19 UstG and can therefore show my prices without VAT. Etsy is not authorized to do this.
