I made this wall hanging design, slightly modified, as a beginner for my first apartment. I enjoyed it so much that I have now made it a second time. This time I have written down all the thread lengths and steps.
If you are new to macramé and have not yet mastered any knotting techniques, then these instructions are perfect for you. The instructions contain detailed, illustrated knotting instructions with all the important knots. And, of course, detailed, illustrated instructions for the wall hanging. Do you already have previous knowledge? That’s fine too – then you can skip the basic knot explanations. As a beginner, you should allow a little more time. However, the effort will pay off! After all, you’ll end up holding your own personal creation in your hands – if that’s not an incentive, what is?
