Tools

You can build (almost) all of my instructions with the simplest of tools. I myself started with a Jigsaw from 20 years ago, without a vice or anything else. In the meantime, however, I’m quite well equipped and show you here which tools I work with. And yes, all our machines have names!

Little Frank and L’J (aka Little Jessi)

I now have two Cordless Drill at home.

One is the Cordless Drill from Bosch (Little Frank) for use at home. This has various attachments and is therefore extremely practical.

On the other hand, a slightly smaller Cordless Drill (L’J) for on the road in the Milwaukee camper. The “little one” for on the road, but now I also like to use it because it’s easier to get to all the nooks and crannies in the camper. I also have a 12V power supply unit so that it can be charged in the camper.

Elise

I’ve been using my Circular plunge-cut saw “Elise” from Makita for some time now and I have to say I wouldn’t want to be without it. Before that, I borrowed a hand-held circular saw from my father and there’s no comparison. The advantage of a “plunge” saw over a normal hand-held circular saw is that you can plunge the saw blade. So you can also make cut-outs in the wood for a sink, for example.

I also have two additional guide rails (1m and 1.4m) including the connectors and screw clamps.

Gustav

Gustav was my first really cool Tool. Sawing is so easy with it (I used to saw everything by hand or 20-year-old Jigsaw ). It’s just fun!

Jigsaw Nameless

Changing saw blades in 2 seconds? It makes it possible!

router machine

I really thought long and hard about whether we really needed them. But I have to say, it’s great fun. Just milling an edge round or removing a millimeter. No problem! We opted for a very simple entry-level model, as we rarely use it compared to our other machines.
